About Us

Hi! I'm Adelaida Ortega, an applied economist recently graduated with a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of California, Davis. Before my PhD, I worked at the Inter-American Development Bank, where I researched migration and labor markets across Latin America. Over the years, I collected and analyzed a rich body of data on Venezuelan migrants in Colombia, much of it technically public but scattered across dozens of government sources and hard to find without domain expertise. I built this website to compile that data in one place, keep it updated automatically, and make it usable and visible to researchers, policymakers, and anyone else who needs it.
